Adam and Brittany met on the dating app Hinge, but it wasn’t just any match — it was destiny with a dash of nostalgia. What brought them together? Their shared love of Pokémon. They both had Pokémon tattoos, and that mutual ink sparked the first conversation — and a connection that would change everything.

From their very first date, something just clicked. They laughed easily, talked for hours, and by the end of the night, it was clear: this was something special. Since that day, they’ve been inseparable — sharing adventures, growing together, and building a life filled with love, laughter, and just the right amount of nerdiness.

The Proposal

In June of 2024, Adam and Brittany traveled to the breathtaking island of Kauai for a vacation with Adam’s dads. The trip was already unforgettable — sunshine, ocean views, and time with family — but Adam had one more surprise in store.

One day, they visited Kīlauea Point, home to the iconic lighthouse featured in Brittany’s favorite Disney movie, Lilo & Stitch. Surrounded by sweeping coastal cliffs and the sound of crashing waves, Adam led Brittany to the lighthouse — and there, with the Pacific Ocean as their witness, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

It was thoughtful, personal, and absolutely perfect — a moment straight out of a movie, and the beginning of their forever.
